What does indexing mean?
Indexing is the process search engines use to understand a web page and add it to the database that can appear in search results. A published press release must first be discovered and crawled, then accepted into the index. Publication alone does not guarantee indexing.
Technical directives, duplicate syndicated content, page quality, internal links, and a site’s crawl patterns can all affect whether a release is indexed and which version search engines choose to show.
